Terms of Use

These terms apply to the PAI Matchmaker app and service, provided by Saroar Khandoker, Portugal (“we”). They add to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. By creating an account you agree to both.

1. Who can use PAI

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these terms.
• You must be single or otherwise honest about your relationship situation, and you must not have been removed from PAI before.
• One person, one account. Your profile and photos must show you, be current and be truthful.

2. How PAI works

PAI suggests introductions based on what both people asked for. An introduction is a suggestion, not a promise that anyone will be interested, that a date will happen or that a relationship will follow. A date is arranged only when both people show interest and accept the same plan at a public place. We do not reserve tables unless a plan says so. Dates are free during launch; if we ever introduce a fee, we will show it clearly and ask for your agreement before any charge.

3. Respect and safety — zero tolerance

We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You must not:

• harass, threaten, stalk, demean or discriminate against anyone;
• upload nudity, sexual content, violence, hate symbols or anyone else’s photos;
• impersonate anyone, misrepresent your age or identity, or create fake profiles;
• solicit money, promote products or services, or use PAI for sex work or trafficking;
• share another member’s personal information without their permission;
• scrape, reverse-engineer or disrupt the service.

Every introduction and date screen has Report and Block. Blocking takes effect immediately. Our team reviews reports, normally within 24 hours, and may remove content, pause matching or close the account of anyone who breaks these rules. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services (112 in the EU) — PAI is not an emergency service.

4. Meeting in person

Meet only at the agreed public place, arrange your own transport, tell someone you trust where you are going and leave whenever you want. We review photos and identity information, but we cannot conduct criminal background checks and cannot guarantee anyone’s behaviour. You are responsible for your own interactions.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload. You give us permission to store, process and show it to the people you are introduced to, only to run PAI. You can delete your account at any time in the app; see the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

6. Ending your account

You may stop using PAI and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, and you may ask for a review by writing to pai.support@byalif.app.

7. Liability

PAI is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for the conduct of members on or off the service or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will tell you in the app before material changes apply. Portuguese law applies, without removing protections of the country where you live. Questions: pai.support@byalif.app.
